Congratulations
to John Wozniak for dominating FSL’s 2007 Hockey
Pools. Last years cup final was decided by 1 point but this years
cup final has been dominated by John. He won by 34 points. He took home the
Presidents Trophy and Stanley Cup in the same year to become the first
participant to ever accomplish this.
Fantastic
performance in 2007 for Mr. Wozniak!
Congrats to
Jimmy Le for the Silver medal and Al Ferreira for his Bronze in both their
rookie seasons.
Special
thanks to Martin Steen for his perfect stat-tracking.
Hope to see
you all next season!

John
Wozniak looks to become the first ever to win the Presidents Trophy and Stanley
Cup in one season.
He will be
heading into the finals as a huge favorite with a 5 player advantage vs rookie Jimmy Le. Last years Cup final was decided by 1
point. This year it could get ugly!
Good Luck
to both of you. Have your 6 subs or less submitted before puck drop of the Cup
Finals.

Second
Round Complete!!!
John
Wozniak, Presidents Trophy Champ, has knocked off the current Stanley Cup Champ
Silvio Taglieri. There will be a new Stanley Cup Champ this year!
Al Ferreira
takes out John Paul Angheloni and will move onto the
Semi’s in his first try.
Fabio
DoCouto takes out Martin Steen overcoming his 3 man disadvantage.
Jimmy Le takes
out his good friend Harry Lam. Unfortunately I heard this friendship is now
over do to the intensity of the series ;)
Semi Final Match ups:
Fabio DoCouto vs Jimmy Le
Experienced playoff performer vs rookie.
John Wozniak vs Al Ferreira
Experienced playoff performer vs another
rookie.
IMPORTANT:
YOU CAN MAKE UP TO 6 SUBS BEFORE THE FIRST PUCK DROP OF THE SEMI
FINALS.
PLEASE HAVE THEM SUBMITTED ON TIME.
Player substitutions are to be submitted in this format:
OUT City - Player
IN City - Player
Spell your player names correctly or you may suffer point reduction
during the updates because it is hard to track improper spelling.
GOOD
LUCK IN THE FINAL 4!!!

First
Round Complete!!!
Quarter
Final Showdowns:
Martin Steen
Vs
Fabio DoCouto
This is
Martins sophomore year and he finished first overall with an impressive 123
points in the first round.
Fabio grabs
the 8th spot and makes it to the Final 8 for the 6th time in the last 7 years.
John Wozniak
Vs
Silvio Taglieri
John is the
current Presidents Trophy Champion and Silvio is the current Stanley Cup holder
from 2006. This is the 7th straight year both of them have made it to the Final
8 however there has only been one cup win between the two and now only one of
them will be moving onto the Final 4.
Jimmy Le
Vs
Harry Lam
Jimmy and
Harry qualify for the Final 8 in their rookie year. Should be a tough one as
these two are not only close friends, but I think lovers as well.
Yes I'm jealous.
Al Ferreira
Vs
John Paul Angheloni
Two more
rookies join the Final 8 this year. This is another interesting battle that
will push the winner to the Final 4.
IMPORTANT:
YOU CAN MAKE UP TO 6 SUBS BEFORE THE FIRST PUCK DROP OF THE SECOND
ROUND (THIS WEDNESDAY)
PLEASE HAVE THEM SUBMITTED ON TIME.
Player substitutions are to be submitted in this format:
OUT City - Player
IN City - Player
Spell your player names correctly or you may suffer point reduction
during the updates because it is hard to track improper spelling.
GOOD
LUCK IN THE FINAL 8!!!

rosters are online for your viewing pleasure. This is your final chance to make
any changes to your roster before the first round begins. You can look at your division\conference

Please

Last but
not least, I would like to congratulate John Wozniak for winning the Presidents
