Rules

Setup

Participants will be divided into 6 divisions in the first round.

* If we encounter an unusual number of participants, conferences and divisions will be split up as equal as possible.

* When the first round ends, the first place team of each division will move on to the Quarter Finals; in addition, the next two highest point totals (7th & 8th place), regardless of conference, will also move onto the Quarter Finals.

* For the Quarter Finals: Best 1st place team in either Conference plays 8th place. 2nd best 1st place team in other Conference plays 7th place. Other two 1st place teams in same Conference face off against each other.

 

Each participant must pick their team of 23 players (12 Forwards, 8 Defensemen, 3 Goalies)

Substitutions

  • In the Quarter Final you’re allowed to substitute 6 players of any kind (Forward, Defensemen, Goalie)
  • The winners of the Quarter Final will advance to the Semi Final
  • In the Semi Final you’re allowed to substitute 6 players of any kind (Forward, Defensemen, Goalie)
  • 3rd place will be given to the losing team with the most points in the Semi Final.
  • The winners of the Semi Final will advance to the Stanley Cup Final
  • In the Stanley Cup Final you’re allowed to substitute 6 players of any kind (Forward, Defensemen, Goalie)
  • You must maintain your 12 Forwards, 8 Defensemen, 3 Goalies formation when substituting.

  • You are to check for yourself if your subs were inputted correctly after you get a confirmation email from me that I received them.
  • If you notice mistakes after the games are over it will be considered to late and you will take blame for not double checking.
  • Everyone will start at 0 points when a new round begins.
  • I will email each of you before the next rounds begin.
  • If failure to respond before the next round begins you will continue on with the same players and receive a penalty of -2 points for the new round.
  • You’re free to pick whomever you want for the group round.
  • If you do not receive a reminder email from me that is no excuse because you should be following anyway.

1. Team with most points.

8. Team with most goals by goalie. 

9. Team with most assists by forwards. 

10. Team with most assists by defensemen. 

11. Team with most assists by goalies. 

 

12. Team with most points in previous round. 

13. Team with most goals in previous round. 

14. Team with most assists in previous round. 

15. Team with most goalie wins in previous round. 

16. Team with most goalie shutout wins in previous round.

31. Team with least assists allowed by forwards in previous round. 

32. Team with least assists allowed by defensemen in previous round. 

33. Team with least assists allowed by goalies in previous round. 

 

31. If there is a tie in the first round there would be no previous round to break the tie. In this case we will flip a coin.
