CONGRATULATIONS TO JOHN PAUL ANGHELONI FOR WINNING THE NHL 2008 STANLEY CUP!

Although John Paul’s favorite team did not win the cup he pulled through in our FSL pool winning by only 2 points over Jeff Sastaunik! Second closest result since 2000 and 2006 when it was only a 1 point spread between 1st and 2nd. Fantastic battle!

Silver: Jeff Sastaunik

Bronze: Martin Steen

Thanks to all those who participated! Hope to see you all in our NHL 2007\2008 Season Pool and later in our NHL 2009 Playoff Pool where John Paul will defend his title!

Have a great summer!

Here we go!

Since there are 16 of us this time around we can’t split that into 6 divisions like last year. So we’re going old school with the Wales – Adams – Patrick, Campbell – Norris – Smythe like the NHL from 1973 to 1993.

There are 4 divisions and each have 4 participants. Top 2 in each Division advance to the Quarter Finals.

Participants were placed in each division according to the rules.

THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO LOOK OVER YOUR DIVISION AND MAKE ANY ROSTER CHANGES YOU WANT!

YOU CAN MAKE CHANGES UP UNTIL THE FIRST PUCK DROP ON WEDNESDAY APRIL 9 7:00PM EASTERN TIME.

If you want to make a change please submit in this format:

OUT - Pittsburgh - Mario Lemieux

IN - Edmonton - Wayne Gretzky

After the first puck drop of the first round you will not be able to make any more changes until the first round is over.

If you advance to the Quarter Finals you will be allowed to make 6 subs.

GOOD LUCK!!!
