Rules Setup * 17 races * All predictions must be submitted at least 1 hour
before race time! However if the qualification ends and the race starts less
then an hour after qualification then please submit your picks ASAP before
race begins. * If you submit your picks and decide you want to
change them around later you may do so. As long as it is at least 1 hour
before the first race event. * If your predictions are not delivered on time
because of your Internet Email Provider you will take the fall and lose out.
To be safe you can email your predictions from two different email accounts (ie. Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail). Also be sure to check the
website 1 hour before race time. If you notice your picks are not there then
quickly send an email to ask management. Please be a responsible and active
participant. * Please submit picks in this format: MotoGP

Lastname No numbers. No spaces between driver names from top
to bottom, Just names with series and proper capitalization. Failure to follow these instructions will result in
-1 point for every incorrect spelling mistake on a single full name at the
end of the deadline. * Newcomers may join the MotoGP
pool any time during the season. * Max number of participants is 22 since there are
11 teams and 2 riders per team. Waiting list * If there are more than 22 participants who want to
join they will be placed on a waiting list. * The newcomers will be placed on top of the waiting
list in that order they have expressed their desire to join the pool. After
them are placed the dropped (but not disqualified) participants from previous
season in that order they were placed in previous season rankings. The
disqualified participants will be placed in the bottom of the waiting list
according to their performance in previous MotoGP
pools. * If a participant is disqualified or wants to quit
during the season, he/she will be replaced by a member of this waiting list
in the order that is stated above (1. newcomers, 2. dropped participants and
3. disqualified participants) * In the beginning of a new season every member in
waiting list gets a place in the MotoGP pool and
the same amount of previous season participants will be dropped to the
waiting list. However TOP 12 from previous season will remain in the pool. * If there are more than 12 people in the waiting
list before new season new rules will be developed. Legend RC = Riders Champion, MC = Manufacturers Champion © = Captain, ® = Rookie, WL = Waiting List DSQ = Disqualified, DNS = Did not start the race,
RET = Retired UNA = Unable - For those who are deceased or injured
for races. Bless you all. Race
Scoring * Before every race all participants will choose in
order who they believe will finish in the top 6 in MotoGP
class, top 5 in 250cc class and top 4 in 125cc class. * You can score anywhere from 0 to 77 points in one
race. 6 pts for dead on each MotoGP prediction, 5
pts for dead on each 250cc prediction and 4 pts for dead on each 125cc
prediction. Example: If you choose a rider to finish 3rd and he finishes
3rd in MotoGP class then you receive 6 points.
(Dead on prediction. 6-0=6) If you choose a rider to finish 4th and he finishes
6th in MotoGP class you only receive 4 points. (2
places off prediction. 6-2=4) If you choose a rider to finish 5th and he finishes
2nd in MotoGP class you only receive 3 points. (3
places off prediction. 6-3=3) If you choose a rider to finish in the top 6 and he
does not finish in the top 6 or gets DSQ or RET in MotoGP
class then you receive 0 pts. After: * 9 0's or more is an automatic retirement. * If there is one class cancelled in GP weekend for
one reason or another (e.g. weather conditions) the RET for the whole race is
if the amount of 0s in finished GPs IS EQUAL OR MORE than added 0s in
finished single classes in previous rule about RETs
in single classes. * If there is a half point race in any class, the GP
points will be always also in that class decreased to half. * If there are given half points in GP weekend for
one reason or another (e.g. weather conditions) in any class the RET for the
whole race is decided so that the amount of needed points in all half point
classes are also devided to half in the same
respect as needed. The 22 point minimum will decrease to 17 if MotoGP race is given half points, 19 if 250cc is given
half points and 20 if 125cc is given half points. Other variations will be
counted and informed in the race. * If there are 2 of the three classes
half point races, the championship points will be also divided to half. Penalties * Participants who get disqualified in at least half
of the season's races will be disqualified and banned from the pool. * If the disqualified participant wants to rejoin
later, that is possible in the next season. The disqualified participants
will be placed on the waiting list behind the newcomers and dropped
participants from previous year. They will be under probation for one whole
season and must not be disqualified more than 5 races/season or they will be
banned for life. * If a participant fails to submit a victory speech
at least 1 hour before the next race they will be disqualified from that next
race. * You will have 3 days to protest an error in your
stats after an update. If you notice anything wrong after the 3 day
limitation you cannot do anything. This will not only promote participation
and liability but also lessen the work for the administration. * Suspicion of obvious copying will not be allowed.
If you copy someone's picks once it will be looked at but not frowned upon
the first time. If you are suspected twice of copying you will be questioned
by management and possibly penalized a total of -15 points at the end of the
race. * If a participant who has had a possibility to see
the predictions of the other riders has similar predictions to other riders
in two classes in successive races or repeatedly, the suspected participant
will be questioned for the case. If the copying seems to continue, the first
punishment will be a three race ban. If it still goes on, the competitor will
be banned for the rest of the season and for the next season. Example: There
are riders A,B, and C. Rider C has seen both riders’ A and B list.
He/She has taken MotoGP class from A's list and
250cc list from B's list. This kind of action is copying. * If you finish the race with 8 of your riders
receiving 0 points and the other 7 combining for a total of 22 or less points
you will receive 0 points for the entire race and it will be marked as if it
were a motorbike failure (Retirement). * 9 0's or more is an automatic retirement. * If you finish the race with 3 of your 125cc, 4 of
your 250 cc or 4 of your MotoGP riders receiving 0 points
and you do not get a retirement of the total race, you will receive 0 points
from that class in the race. * In case of comparing the points for highest places on the valid points for the total sum are accepted. [=The points for disqualified classes (125cc, 250cc and MotoGP) do not count.]
* If you fail to email Silvio
with your new predictions for the race in time you will be DNS and receive 0
pts. It is better to email him in advance with your predictions. * It is also your responsibility to make sure that Silvio have posted or published the correct selections
for you on the race page. You should visit the site and check them. * If you submit the same rider twice in your top 6 (MotoGP), top 5 (250cc) or top 4 (125cc) only the higher
position will count and the second will be given 0 points. * If you would like to use the same picks as the
previous week or the same order as the qualifying you must still formally
send an email with those picks. Just sending a message saying "please
use the same picks as last week" or "use the same as the qualifying
results" is not enough active participation. Therefore if you do not at
least submit the same formal list as outlined by the rules and format, you
will be DSQ for that race. Drivers
& Manufacturers Championship Team points will be accumulated by the captains all-season points from races 1-17. The newcomers are considered as rookies at the first
year they are riding. If a newcomer joins in the middle of the racing season
his rookie season ends when the season ends. Riders who were not involved in the previous season
are considered rookies or newcomers and therefore cannot be a captain of any
team. If a rookie does well in the first half of the
season a captain can pick him to his team after 9 races. However the rookie
is still considered a rookie all season long. A rookie should have to prove himself
or herself. So newcomers will pick last. If a rookie enters they would be
paired up with whoever is alone on a team. If there is not a team needing a
member then he/she can pick one of the remaining teams. Rookies should start from the bottom and work their
way up, not be paired up with an experienced participant right off the
beginning of his/her riding career. If the total amount of participants is an uneven
number, the last one of last year's score board is left without a team. That
reduces the possibility to seek for a "wanted" team-mate. Riders who finished last in the previous season with
an uneven number of riders are alone on a team but are not captains of that
team. When a participant quits and backs out of the season
he will be replaced by any participant who is racing alone on a team. The
replacement participant continues with his personal point total but does not
carry over his team points to his new team. 9 races into the season the standings are as follows.. Vesajoona,
Fabio, Jussi, and Antero would be available for a
new team-mate Harry gets first pick on these 5 drivers Of course you could be loyal and stick with your
team-mate from the start. But this is what makes things interesting. Before the beginning of the season if participants
don’t reply with their team name and\or notice of participation when asked
they will be moved to the end of the line. 5 to 10 days is the usual length
of time given. This will dispose of lazy
participants as well. At the start of the new season new captains will be
seated exactly how they were this season. (from previous final standings) New captains are Vesajoona
who would be paired up with Antero All captains get to pick their new team name Aprilia, Derbi, Ducati, Gilera, Haojue, Honda, Race End

Championship points for the race are determined to be
same as team’s highest placed drivers points.
Example: If Aprilia has Visajaani,
Ducati Silvio and Harry and KTM Antero and Jussi and the rider race results are the following: 1. Visajaani, 2. Harry, 3. Silvio,
4. Jussi, 5. Antero, the Manufacturer results in
order would be from that race: 1. Aprilia 25p, 2.
Ducati 20p (Harry’s points), 3. KTM 13p (Jussi’s points). Note:
