This years DLSC has been dominated by Portuguese Managers. In the DL Championship Al Ferreira (Chaves), Steve Reis (Sporting) and Fabio DoCouto (FC Porto) finished in the top 4. Al Ferreira (Chaves) eventually won it all.

In the DL Cup Steve Reis (Sporting) took out Fabio DoCouto (FC Porto) in the Finals.

Domestic League Division 1 and 2 have been set after August.

(Note: After every month the bottom two teams in DLD1 will be relegated to DLD2 and the top two teams in DLD2 will be promoted to DLD1.)

Another fantastic start for Silvio Taglieri (Juventus). This is very typical but he has yet to win a DL Championship as he chokes towards the end. It is still very early. Jussi Ahvenus (Tampere United) and Al Ferreira (Chaves) keep pace in 2^nd and 3^rd respectively.

DL Cup match-ups are set! Should be a fantastic first round!

Substitutions

The first 7 days of every new month you will have the opportunity to substitute 12 or less players on your 24 man squad.

Transfers

If you decide that you can’t wait for the beginning of the new month to make your 12 substitutions and want to make them immediately you are allowed to make up to 6 transfers every month.

You can only Transfer a Goalkeeper 1 time in a month.

For every player you transfer you lose 2 subs at the beginning of the new month.

You have 12 subs total every new month which allows you to make 6 transfers anytime during a month. If you use up all 6 transfers in one month you will have 0 sub options in the following new month.

It’s that time of year again…Domestic League Soccer Championship 2007-2008

Please email me with a YES if you will be participating in this year’s fantasy league. A NO will take you off this email list.

It’s very simple to play and lasts up to 8 months with DL Championship, DL Cup, Champions League and UEFA Cup titles all up for grabs.

This year we are implementing a new rule that will handicap the top 3 from last year in order to promote new champions. So this is your chance to win it all!
