World Cup Final

Congratulations Antero Matikka for winning the FSL 2010 World Cup South Africa!

Antero and Robbie tied 7 points a piece however Antero won the tie breaker with more points in the previous round. It was basically a penalty kick win it was so close.

3^rd Place

Christian defeats Jimmy 3-2 for 3^rd place.

Congratulations to our top 4. Have a good summer and hope to see you in our 7^th annual Domestic League Soccer Championship which includes the League Championship, League Cup, Champions League and Europa League. Expect an email invite shortly as the league starts August 1^st.

To the Semi Final….

We will have a new FSL World Cup Champion as Robbie knocked off defending Champ Jussi in the Quarter Final.

Al’s amazing 2010 run has ended as well. Not only did he win the DL Championship, DL Cup and Champions League but he almost cracked the Semi Finals of the World Cup. An old nemesis Antero stood in his way.

Robbie, Jimmy, Antero, Christian, you are all through!

Each participant must pick a squad of 23 (20 players and 3 goalkeepers) Simply choose players who you believe will score the most.

Scoring

G - 1 pt for a Goal

GWG - 1.5 pts for a Game Winning Goal

ETWG - 2 pts for an Extra Time Winning Goal

G - 2 pts for a Goal

W - 3 pts for a Win

SD - 4 pts for a Shutout Draw

SW - 5 pts for a Shutout Win

Top two participants in each group qualify for the Round of 16.

In the Round of 16 you’re allowed to substitute 6 players of any kind.

Winners in the Round of 16 move onto the Quarter Finals.

In the Quarter Finals you’re allowed to substitute 6 players of any kind.

Winners in the Quarter Finals move onto the Semi Finals.

In the Semi Finals you’re allowed to substitute 6 players of any kind.

Winners in the Semi Finals face off in the World Cup Final and losers in the Semi Final face off in a 3rd Place Match.

In the Finals and 3rd Place Match you’re allowed to substitute 6 players of any kind.

You must maintain your 20 Players and 3 Goalkeepers formation when substituting.
